Midland Lead C4 Blue Machine Cast Lead - 1.8mm is a premium machine cast lead, suitable for all roofing, cladding, and general building requirements, e.g. repairing flashings, gutters and parapets. Machine cast lead is more affordable than rolled lead, and is made to very precise operating standards. It meets the following standards: British Board of Agreement (certificate no. 86/1764), European Construction Products Regulation (CPR), and is CE marked to BS EN 14783. Unlike rolled lead, it has a clean, non-oily finish that is ready for immediate use. It is an efficient weather proofing material that can be fitted in all weather conditions; this is not possible with non-lead weatherproofing materials. Once fitted, this lead should be treated with just one coat of patination oil, and it can then be forgotten about - it won't deteriorate or stain. Safe, versatile and durable, it is also environmentally friendly. Made from 100% recycled lead, it can be recycled again and again.
